Things to Know

1. Cost is according to stay-length, & according to your means.

You can book the Writer's Room at The Little Sanctuary, Ennistymon through https://www.airbnb.ie.

Or contact Grace directly.

For short-stays, the room is generally €50-€60 a night depending on the season, and your stay-length.

For writers and artists there's the chance to book in for the long-term rateof €40 a night. If you'd like extra financial assistance, please email Grace outlining how long you're hoping to stay, and adding a brief description of the creative project you intend to work on. Nature-based work and environmental projects will be particularly welcomed.

2. Grace has a dog, Mani. She is well-loved but not so well-behaved. A very friendly and affectionate creature, she doesn't always realise that some people can resist her charm. If you are hesitant around dogs, please let Grace know, so she can accommodate that.

3. There's no WiFi at The Little Sanctuary. You'll need to use your own personal hotspot, or visit a local cafe, or the Falls Hotel, or book into The Digiclare Hub, to get good internet access.

4. The Little Sanctuary is run on environmentally-protective principles, so chemicals are used very sparingly. This means the laundry isn't as brilliantly white as at the Ritz, and the towels can be a little stiff.

5. Ennistymon is a 5 minute walk away, or a 20 minute stroll through Tattens woods. There's plenty of parking if you come by car. Or you take a bus from Galway, or Ennis, which will bring you to Ennistymon, where Grace can collect you and show you around.
